Today’s morning ride from Strava. I thought I was moving faster than this, but I guess my legs are still having problems rebuilding after laying off most of last month.
It’s also weird to me that I wore the heart rate monitor strap today and did the same ride as last Fri (without a strap), but the calorie calc was so different. 581 today with HRM; 831 last week without HRM. Not sure which to believe more.
Rode the 17.5 mi from Issaquah P&R to the SODO area today. I thought I was riding pretty quickly, but not where I was a month ago before I dislocated my shoulder. Ah well. Fitness will return.

mont blanc
We honeymooned in France, and saw the MTB trails near Mount Blanc. They would be epic.
Tour de France 2012

Les particularités de l’épreuve:

- 4 étapes accidentées dont une avec arrivée en altitude
- 5 étapes de montagne dont deux avec arrivée en altitude
- 2 étape contre la montre en individuel
- 1 prologue
- 2 journées de repos
I’m trying out the Strava iPhone app instead of MapMyRide. It has a nifty feature that lets you compare your ride/run performance on a whole ride as well as segments of it to other users. It encourages competitiveness, which might be a good motivator.
It’s supposed to be 60 and sunny this afternoon - great for Mar in Seattle - so I made sure to ride the bike today to earn a great ride home :-)
